Dr. Danielle Lo is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and a premier cataract and refractive surgeon.
Dr. Lo graduated with the highest honors from Brown University with an ScB in Neuroscience. She was then chosen as the first student to complete the accelerated three-year MD program at the prestigious New York University (NYU) Grossman School of Medicine, annually ranked as one of the top 3 medical schools in the US. Dr. Lo then went on to complete her residency in ophthalmology at NYU, where she was selected by her peers and faculty to serve as the Chief Resident in her final year. During her chief year, Dr. Lo had the opportunity to train other young ophthalmologists in surgical techniques.
Throughout her training, Dr. Lo has published several peer-reviewed papers in leading ophthalmology journals. She has been invited to present her research at several national and international conferences, including the Association for Research and Vision in Ophthalmology (ARVO), American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), and American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) annual meetings. Most recently, Dr. Lo was awarded the Liesegang Fellowship for her research in the management and treatment of herpes zoster ophthalmicus.
Dr. Lo is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Spanish and is excited to return home to Southern California and to provide world-class care to the Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire communities.
