Garlan Lo, MD

Dr. Garlan Lo is the founder of Puente Hills Eye Care Center and is an international leader in cataract, corneal, glaucoma and laser surgery. He also serves as a Clinical Professor at the University of Southern California (USC) Department of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Lo has served thousands of patients in the Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire communities over thirty years. He is one of the most experienced eye surgeons in the world, having performed over 50,000 cataract surgeries. Dr. Lo has refined his clinical acumen and surgical technique over several decades and delivers outstanding surgical results with low complication rates. He is recognized as a teacher, writer, lecturer, and world-class physician and surgeon.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude from USC with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Dr. Lo earned his medical degree from the Northwestern University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency training at the acclaimed USC-Doheny Eye Institute.
